About the Role

The Window Showroom Sales Professional will be responsible for driving sales by engaging with customers both in the showroom and at their premises. You will play a key role in showcasing our product range, understanding customer needs, and guiding them through the selection process with a soft sales approach. The role involves travelling to customer locations for consultations and coordinating appointments at the showroom to provide tailored solutions for their window, door, and glazing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Consultation:

Greet customers in the showroom and provide a warm, welcoming environment.

Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their requirements, style preferences, and budget.

Offer expert advice on product selection, installation options, and design possibilities.

Build long-lasting relationships with customers through excellent customer service and product knowledge.

Soft Sales Approach:

Utilise a consultative, soft sales approach to gently guide customers through the purchasing process, ensuring they are informed but not pressured.

Provide customers with detailed product information, explaining features, benefits, and value.

Highlight the advantages of various products and solutions, aligning them with the customer’s unique needs and preferences.

Showroom & On-Site Consultations:

Arrange appointments with customers for showroom visits or on-site consultations, offering flexibility based on customer preferences and location.

Travel to customer premises to assess their requirements, take measurements, and provide product recommendations.

Ensure accurate, detailed notes are recorded for follow-up and to ensure all customer requirements are met.

Sales Administration:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales leads, and appointment schedules using the company’s CRM system.

Prepare and send quotes, product information, and brochures to prospective customers.

Follow up on leads, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries.

Product Demonstrations & Presentations:

Lead product demonstrations in the showroom, showing the full range of windows, doors, and glazed extensions.

Assist customers in understanding how specific products can enhance their home’s design and functionality.

Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.

Report on sales targets, customer feedback, and market trends to the Sales Manager.

Contribute ideas and insights for improving showroom operations and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Clean UK Driving License

  • Clear DBS check

  • 3 years experience showroom based (windows & doors background essential)

  • Happy to travel throughout London

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the home improvement or window and door industry.
