About the Role
You'll work alongside other electricians to achieve our key targets and ensure that our customers receive our products in full working order and in line with our expected standards.
Responsibilities
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all jobs are logged in a timely and efficient manner on our management system.
• Facilitate inventory management processes, including requisitions, stock takes, and ad hoc corrections.
• Promptly manage both internal and external queries as and when they arise.
• Ensure inventory within the workshop is managed to reduce unnecessary expenditure.
• Assess the viability and cost of repairs based on your fleet knowledge (full training will be provided).
• Maintain accurate service records and general housekeeping.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on projects to ensure timely and quality work.
• Ensure H&S compliance and adhere to safety rules and regulations, highlighting any unsafe practices or breaches.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
• NVQ level 3 required (2357/2356)
• In service and inspection (PAT 2377)
• Level 3 Inspection and testing (2391-52 or 2391/92)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the electrical industry
