About the Role

The Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the successful delivery of window and conservatory installation projects. This includes planning, scheduling, and supervising multiple projects, liaising with clients and contractors, and ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Oversee all aspects of installation projects, from initial client handover to final completion.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.

Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials to meet project schedules.

Team Leadership:

Manage and supervise installation teams, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

Provide guidance and support to fitters, ensuring adherence to company policies and health and safety regulations.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.

Client Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Ensure a smooth client experience by maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure all installations comply with health and safety legislation, building regulations, and company policies.

Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and incident reports.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct pre-installation site surveys to assess requirements and identify potential challenges.

Monitor the quality of work completed by installation teams, ensuring it meets company standards.

Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of window, door, and conservatory installation processes and building regulations.

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction, glazing, or home improvement industry.

  • Clear DBS

  • Full UK driving licence (required for site visits).

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
